Vision Plans

As a medical office, we are not contracted with discounted vision plans. Despite our attempts to participate, they declined collaboration with an independent doctor's office, citing "over-saturation." Many vision plans own chain optical stores such as Lenscrafters or Visionworks, encouraging patients to use their benefits at these establishments. This setup means patients essentially pay the same company twice – through their membership plan and eyewear purchase. Additionally, vision plans might make patients feel limited to the services offered within their network.

For patients with medical conditions such as diabetes, dry eye or vision issues, medical insurance is applicable. To assist patients, we provide detailed receipts upon request for them to seek reimbursement from their vision plans for routine exams. Click the link below to access the out-of-network claim form.
